Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine-based approach to treating a variety of health conditions by triggering specific points on the skin with very fine needles. Here at LifeFlow Acupuncture & Wellness, we use a very gentle technique to stimulate nerve-rich areas of the skin in order to influence tissues, glands, organs, and various functions of the body to help bring the body back into balance.

Acupuncture is also great for relaxation, with many patients falling asleep during their treatment. This is because acupuncture uses your body's internal mechanisms to bring relief. When the different acupuncture points are stimulated, the nerves send a message to the brain, telling it to release our natural pain killers, endorphins. These natural brain chemicals cause us to relax and feel eurphoric or happy, thus promoting calmness and wellness.
